Reemoon Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. recently completed the installation of a multifunctional four-channel blueberry sorting line in Lepe, Huelva Province, Spain, which officially went into operation in February 2025. Designed specifically for blueberry sorting, the line boasts a processing speed of approximately 2,400 fruit cups per minute per channel, greatly enhancing efficiency in the region's production operations.

Merwyn, head of Reemoon's operations in Spain, explained, "Previously, our customers mainly relied on manual blueberry sorting—a method that is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive but also susceptible to fruit damage and inconsistent results due to human error. With the introduction of our automated sorting line, both efficiency and quality control have seen significant improvements."

The newly operational system features a specialized four-channel sorting machine developed by Reemoon for blueberries. Merwyn added, "Tailored to meet customer requirements, this equipment offers higher operational speed while ensuring gentle handling of the fruit. We've improved mechanical performance and made the software interface simpler and more user-friendly. The visual system now incorporates AI technology, enabling more accurate detection and removal of defective fruit, placing it at the forefront of industry innovation."

The deployment of this sorting line has effectively reduced the reliance on manual labor and enhanced consistency in fruit quality. Merwyn also noted, "The sorting equipment market is increasingly competitive. Our strategy is to leverage technical strengths, optimize cost-effectiveness, and deliver robust after-sales support to give customers peace of mind."

Regarding Reemoon's global strategy, Merwyn said, "Our products have been exported to over 30 countries, and we maintain a subsidiary in Spain. After-sales service is delivered by a combination of local staff and Chinese engineers, ensuring timely responses and reliable technical support."

Reemoon Technology Holdings Co., Ltd. focuses on the research, development, and manufacturing of post-harvest intelligent equipment for fruits and vegetables, as well as providing comprehensive post-harvest processing services. The company has also established a mechanical automation research institute to advance automation across the entire processing line, aiming to meet the evolving needs of diverse clients. Merwyn concluded, "With continuous technological advancement and expanding applications, the adoption of automated sorting equipment in the fruit industry is expected to accelerate, offering greater efficiency and enhanced product quality throughout the supply chain."
